Just started two snacks a day to encourage ds to eat more. What with that and milk at different times to food, it's all bloody food and milk all day. 6am wake and milk, 7 am breakfast, 9.30 snack after sleep, 12 lunch, 1.30 milk and sleep, 3 snack, 5 tea, 7 milk. Trouble is keep finding myself eating at same times, will be such a hog if by the time he's one

IKWYM, I scoffed all of DS's cheese shapes yesterday
They were nice and the diet started today

I have eaten so far: bite of humgzinger apricot, piece of sweet potato, whole chicken and apple ball, finger of marmite sandwich and half rich tea finger (I know, bad mother gives son half biscuit every other day!) Plus my own food of course. Looking forward to his pasta for tea

DS has oatmeal with mashed up Banana for breakie, yuk looks like horrid gloop so he's welcome to that!
He did join in with my Pilates this morning, even my 6 mnth baby is better at it than me I wish I could chew my toes

I bet my Dh wishes I could too

I remember that stage. What with food/snacks/milk and a baby who wouldn't sleep unless he was in his cot or on the bed with me and who needed at least 2 naps a day (yes I KNOW most babies will only sleep in the pushchair/car - mine was just contrary!) I never seemed to have more than 1 hr slots in which I could do anything.

Improvement came when he dropped some of his milk feeds and when his naps became one nap. I do think the weaning stage sucks actually

I think the fun and excitement of seeing your baby eat is great but the hassle factor is massive. Ds is being a funny bugger with his food lately too, hence me eating most of his leftovers. Ivor am impressed with attempt at pilates though, I've done bugger all exercise today.

Like I said it's day one of the diet, give me a chance to give up and eat cake

How old is he? Sounds like a lot of feed times for a baby who isn't even 1 - are you sure they are all necessary? I doubt he'll eat more this way as he won't be hungry with feeds this close together!
