A REALLY stupid question about freezing finger food

As per the title, this really is a stupid, trivial question. I'm just starting to wean dd, 6 months. Planning a mixture of puree and finger food. Cooking carrots for our team tonight, want to puree and freeze a few cubes for dd. Would like her to have a cooked carrot baton as finger food at the same time. Can I freeze cooked carrot batons? Will they turn to mush in defrosting? Told you it was a stupid question.

I think mush, sorry. Some veg freezes well but carrots always go funny ime.

I would freeze some puree now and when you want to give it to her just steam some batons for everyone and give her one as well.

Whenever we have given our DD, currently 10 months, a carrot baton we don't cook them at all.

I agree cooked carrot will go to mush on defrosting but you can blanch - just pop in boiling water fir a minute or two - and then freeze.
