Just wondering what people give their babies for lunch?

DD is 8mo and has just graduated from purees to chopped food so for dinner I either give her what we all eat, if it's suitable, very finely chopped, or what I cook for DS (6yo). I mainly just eat (cheese!) sandwiches or cup-a-soups etc for lunch so she will have grated cheese sandwiches, or hummus, or hard boiled/scrambled egg, but I'm starting to run out of ideas and I don't have time to batch cook or prep special meals for her all the time which I did for DS when he was weaning! I've still got some purees in the freezer but she seems to have outgrown them!

Can you cook tiny pasta shapes and mix the leftover purées into it?

What about batch cooking things like bolognese/curry/shepherds pie that everyone will eat and feed her tiny portions of it at lunchtime?

Ah yes didn't think of using up the purees with pasta, good idea Smile
