Those who used jars for weaning before 6 months

Did you use the ones that say for 4-6 months but in the ingredients it says contains cow's milk? I know we're not supposed to give milk as a drink etc but formula is made from cow's milk so is it ok? They don't have much milk in them

I thought definitely no dairy until 6 months so I'd be unhappy. Better off making your own stuff if you can.

I weaned (v. slowly) at around 21/22 weeks (though the b.rice stage started earlier). The only jars I gave were the pure veg/fruit ones. Dairy/wheat/gluten avoided until 26 weeks - then it was anything goes
