Banana cake with chocolate chips?

Dd is 7 months old and we are blw. She's a pretty good eater at the moment. My dsis has brought round a banana cake which has chocolate chips in it. Is it ok to give dd a bit? Is there any reason why even small amounts of chocolate should be avoided?

Of course give her some. Unless you're totally anti sugar. I'm not in moderation! Choc chips baked in banana bread tend to soften anyway so it won't be like hard little chunks of chocolate.

Thanks. I'll give her some. Smile

Agree totally, everything in moderation is acceptable here, unless it's on the banned list of course.
