Before visiting Cod a few weeks ago Ds lived on pureed everything and shoppingbags was a happy lady. Ater being tempted with raisins and a variety of other big boy foods chez Cod, he now refuses all spoon fed mush and insists on grown up food bunged on his tray. Ate fish goujons, sliced roast chicken, lump of butternut squash and some new potatoes yesterday. Shoppingbags now has a freezer full of ice cubes of mush and a very happy son. Bravo Coddy

Good idea. Have been stealing his mushy cauliflower cheese when he refuses it anyway, might have it with tonight's dinner. He's scoffing an Aunt Bessie yorkshire pud as I type, not sure that's the healthiest but it is combined with lots of other good things

careful with egg in yorkshire puddings if he is not yet one year old

There isn't an 'avoid egg' thing sbue, which is prob why you didn't know about it! They are fine from 6 months.

Cansleepwontstarve... guidelines talk about the introduccion of egg yolks as safe from 6m. However, early introduction of egg white is proven to be one of the main factors for development of allergies. I have not known of a paeditrician yet who advise intro of it before the year mark.

Guidelines have a very elusive existence, you only get to know about them after you show up to your GP/HV with a child who has been suffering from suspected allergies for a while. So we can not say there is "none"
