Food safety when weaning - quick question

So I've got everything I need to puree veg and keep it in ice cube trays like they suggest.

When I defrost my ice cubes of food, do I need to heat them to boiling again and let them cool? Or can they just be warmed enough to eat?

I would warm veg but properly heat meat.

Heat all food until it's piping hot.

Heat to piping hot and cool to suitable temperature.

Heat to 70 then cool down

That's interesting. How come Ellis pouches etc only need to be warmed?

I've not used them but it's probably because they've been ultra heat treated unlike home cooking.

I reheat everything until piping hot even if I'm reheating for adults.

They are cooked in a completely different way to how you cook your food at home

I always reheated until piping hot and then let cool. Pre packed baby food will already have been heat treated which is why they have such a long shelf life
