Packed lunch

My DS is 8 months and I'm back at work as of Tuesday. He will be going to a childminder and just wanted some advise on what to pack him for lunch and snacks?!
He's so far been on purée but has finger food such as rice cakes and the odd sandwich but just seems to play with it rather than eat it. This is a first time thing for me so any advise is greatly received Smile

At that age my dd liked pasta salads, sandwiches, wraps, fritata( left to go cold), fruit, stuff on toast, hummus and pittas. Will the cm be able to heat things up or is it just a pack up?

She has said she can heat it up but I'm imagining it's just going to be a pop in the microwave jobbie...

Soups with bread for dipping?
