Non-acidic meals for 10mo self-feeder

DS 10m has recently had a couple of nasty tummy bugs and as a result is now suffering from persistent but sporadic (if that makes sense) D&V. Doc said yesterday that this is because his little system is inflamed and hyper sensitive and aside from breast milk he needs only very bland non-acidic foods for the next few days/weeks/as long as it takes to come right again.

She said no fruit apart from banana, and "just things like boiled rice"...Hmm

He loves food, hasn't lost his appetite and feeds himself with his hands 90% of the time so I want to maintain his interest while feedIng him gentle, easy to eat but still nutritious foods.

Has has baby porridge or toast for breakfast, so it's lunch and tea ideas that I'm needing please.

so can I ask for your ideas - so far I've got creamy gnocchi bake, boiled potato/veg wedges, chicken fricassee with rice (messy!), eggy bread and then my mind goes blank!
