Im doing the purreeing and ice cube thing for DS but want to add some flavour to the veg. Ive read to add homemade veg or chicken stock but as I dont have 2hrs to spare waiting for the stock to cook is there a lazy way of doing it. ie are they any stock cubes suitable??

marigold and kallo both do no/low salt varients - from large supermarkets - certainly JS, anyway

tbh I don't know whether they need added flavour at this age? I would just leave the flavours pure, then move on to family meals when he gets a bit older.

actually, agree emkana

I've started adding a little chicken stock to DS's puree from time to time to prepare him for meaty flavours. I did make my own though and have frozen it in cubes. It didn't take too long to prepare at all Kbaby and it's well worth it as you can use it for your food as well. I made about 2 pints worth and used one of those ice cube bag things to freeze it. You pour the stock in through a little hole in the top, leave the bag to freeze, then pull all the compartments apart to free all the cubes. Then use as you would cubes of puree. Brilliant invention!
