Hi Kbaby

I'm also doing ice cube trays but i have always just transferred them into freezer bags as soon as food was frozen DS has never had any problems

Twinklemegan · 02/02/2007 23:45

Me too. Did this from the word go. Never bothered sterilising the ice cube tray either and DS is fine.

nappyaddict · 03/02/2007 00:49

i don't and never have sterilised anything so i'm sure it will be fine. don't the cubes stick together though?

deaconblue · 04/02/2007 20:48

I transfered the frozen cubes straight to freezer bags. Sterilised the ice cube things until I realised I hadn't sterilised the pans, wooden spoons, knives etc I'd been using so stopped bothering

i did right from the start before discovering BLW !!

I transferred them as soon as they were frozen - so I could mix and match! Make sure you label them ( and the label sticks) as I once gave dd1 pear (instead of parsnip) and pumpkin - ah well she seemed to like it!
