does anyone have any ideas my son is eight and 1/2 months old and wont have seven month old baby food he will have finger foods but just spits out the bits what can i do

Finger foods are a good thing, my dd was weaned onto these, as she never took to puree. When she first started with finger foods, not a lot reached her tummy, but by 9 or 10 months, she was eating a reasonable amount. This method of weaning is called Baby Led Weaning.
