Is frozen rice safe for little ones?

I'm trying to make an effort to feed my LO proper home cooking - we do this anyway when he's with us - we've been doing a hybrid BLW for about 2 months and he's very good at eating both off a spoon (for childminder's sake) and feeding himself - but when he's away from home I find it harder to know what to send him with. I've got some homemade risotto in the freezer which I was going to defrost but then remembered something about not re-heating rice.
Any ideas?

As long as it is heated very thoroughly (and then cooled obviously) it should be fine.

it's absolutely fine
Don't worry

Thanks Shazronnie.
Weinstein - why didn't I think of that link?! Doh!
Bit worried whether it was cooled and put in fridge within an hour though now. Paranoid new (ish) mum alert!
