After one year I want to completely wean my daughter of breastmilk but she won't take any other kind of milk! After a couple of weeks I am now down to one night feed and one about 5am ( that I just can't face weaning her off just now...) This has gone like a dream no problems. Apart from the fact that she won't drink milk. She takes about 6oz over a day. Tops!
Oh I have tried all types of cup (she drinks water well from a cup)straws, all teats known to womankind (never ever liked a bottle), hot, cold, diluted, smoothie, cocoa powder, soya, cows, goats, formula, before eating, afer, during. In the pram so on and so on...
I know I can use cheese and yog etc to bump up her calcium intake but am worried for her teeth and bones! I would say otherwise she eats a good varied diet and is bright as a button.
Just not a milk chocolate one.
Any wise words? Or soothing ones??
