...this thing about "Introduce new stuff slowly, one thing at a time" etc.

Can I just ignore that? And mix veg as well?

So far he's only had pear and apple at night, he's seven months and I want to move things forward but don't know how.

the one-at-a-time is for when they're

I just gave a different thing each day/meal, then progressed onto meals with 2 + things... now at 9 1/2 months he will eat a full meal

Try him with extra veg etc from your meal.

i was a bit shit about that, tbh, pretty much gave her new things every couple of days as i got over-excited. i'm in the process of changing the blog round a bit so you can see what i gave in month 1, month 2 etc (although there's no science to it, i'm not annabel karmel, i just gave her what we were having...)

have a look at the blog, we basically did what soupy suggested and gave her our veggies to begin with.

can't believe he's seven months already! i was hanging around here when he was born...

We gave DS something different every two days for, ooooh, about 2 weeks. Then it was something different every day for about a week, then every meal... We were pretty lax about it, I guess. But then apart from DH's banana allergy, which we think is psychological anyway, we don't have any allergies. If we had, I'd probably have given him something new every week or so!
