Lean or 'fat' mince

Normally I cook extra stew or cottage pie etc when we're eating something ds-friendly and freeze portions for ds so he gets whatever we'd normally eat ie lean 5% fat minced beef.

But, freezer stocks are low so I need to do an extra cook just for him and I've just been debating with myself in the supermarket whether to get lean or full fat meat given that we give him full fat milk etc. I've bought lean this time thinking it would be more filling but wondered what everyone else does in this situation?

Just whatever you normally use. I don't even think full fat milk is essential (I have it but that's because I like it). I interpreted the advice as not to put a small child on a low fat diet. Actually nobody should be on a low fat diet but plenty of households are.

That makes sense, thanks.
