Peanut butter?

Is there any reason i can't give DS (almost 7mths) peanut butter? Am i right in thinking there's only a cause for concern if there's a history of allergies in the family?

No peanuts before age of 1 is the guideline if no history of allergies I think.

early introduction has been linked to allergies in later life.

Actually, peanut butters are considered ok form 6 months if there are no allergic diseases in the family:

with allergies though it is subsequent exposures that result in the reaction
