have heard liver is really good for babies. Could not find chicken livers at Tescos. So bought some lamb liver. will that be ok?

it may have a slightly stronger flavour, so it would be good to put it with something sweeter, such as apricot or apple as well as some potato to try and 'dilute' the taste. Did you look in the freezer bit? That's the only place I've ever found them at Tescos, in little circular tubs.

Looked in the freezer but could not find anything, so bought fresh ones. Did a tomato type casserole. DD loved it-I did not [sad}

Well you've done it now, but would have said that chicken livers are a much softer consistency than lambs liver, so much easier to eat, particularly if there aren't many teeth present.

Chicken livers also have a milkier flavour.

We can get chicken livers at my Tesco, but not always. Usually get them from Waitrose.
