Water with meals question

I'm offering my ds water with meals, especially in this heat. He has only started weaning in the last few weeks, I'm curious about the difference between boiled cooled water and bottled water.

Would it be OK to use mineral water for the small a mouth he drinks.

If you are in the uk and your lo is 6 months, you can offer water straight from the tap.

You only need to boil water for formula and can give at were from the tap from 6 months. You shouldn't give mineral water as they can be high in sodium

Just to be clear, the water is boiled for formula to kill the bacteria in the powder, not the water
