BLW sausages?

Hello Smile

We're having sausage casserole tonight. I've checked the salt content and they are good quality sausages. Would they be ok for my 6m son?

Also how should I cut them to serve to him if they are fine?

I'm sure in to baby led weaning book it explains how sausages are fine, actually a perfect food to grab and chew, but you need to remove the skins by peeling them off, before giving to baby.

I think the skins can be hard for them to bite through and can make it stick, (if they were to bite a chunk off) so it reduces choking risk.

I used to cut them into circles and pull the skin off

I cut them in half/quarters lengthways (depending on size) and used to remove the skin until he got the hang of it

I gave mine a sausage cut lengthways and she was over the moon with it. Singing away to it too. She's 6 mo

I'd cut them into half circles rather than circles, sausages are unfortunately one of the top foods kids choke in so better safe than sorry.
