Why won't my baby eat carbs!?

My DD is 13 months old, and I'm starting to get a little worried about how much she eats. Her height is on the 98th centile and her weight the 25th, and although I'm confident that this is her natural build, I feel she doesn't have much leeway as she's so slim already. The problem really is that she just won't eat any carbs other than pasta, and she won't always eat that! I've tried countless bready things, rice, noodles, pasta, pancakes, potatoes, barley etc to no avail! She likes protein foods and fruit, plus some veg.

General reassurance that this is ok/will get better would be much appreciated, along with any suggestions...

I think she is eating the essential foods - it is much worse when they only eat carbs! Sadly I know this from bitter experience. My ds would only eat beige food for about a year. I worried terribly about his lack of nutrients, but he did grow out of it and your dd will too.

Yep! Don't worry, tastes charge. I also think a lot of it is texture. Just keep introducing it.. Also try different carbs (you probably have!), cous cous, spaghetti, shaped pasta etc

She's eating a really healthy diet then! She doesn't need refined carbs like pasta anyway. She's getting her carbs from vegetables and milk. Just make sure that she's also getting enough fat, as she'll need that for growth.
