My DD loves strong flavours. I think because she has been on nutrimigen which tastes foul.

She like houmous
Smoke salmon
Feta
Strong cheese
Salami

Any suggestions on other quick finger food.

No help here sorry but if she's on nutrigem, how come she can eat cheese? Just wondering. Smile

Because her lactose intolerance has subsided. But GP thinks keep her on it as she is used to it. And given she is only on it another two months not worth trying to alter it.

Plus lactose in cheese is less than in actual milk.

I was doing some googling for new foods for DD the other day and apparently seafood sticks are okay as they don't actually have crab in them? They're quite strong tasting.

I'll try those. Never thought of them

My daughter likes all the same sorts of things yours does.

We've done homemade chicken tikka pieces for her, which went down a storm.

Spinach and ricotta tortellini with red pesto is another winner.

BettyBi0 · 13/04/2016 11:34

What about mild spicey or herby stuff?

I'd also watch the salt levels in some of the stronger tasting foods as their kidneys cannot take much at that age.

murphyslaws · 13/04/2016 11:42

I really mean she has a little bit of smoked salmon or a slice of salami. Not loads. Just a bit

Definitely curry flavoured things. Goes down a storm here.

Mexican chicken wraps?

Found the recipe on a baby weaning blog and it's gone down a storm for lunch today.

Will dig it out of you're interested.

Though speaking of the blog, it's called Penny Led Weaning, you might want a gander.

My DS also loves strong cheddar, prawn cocktail crisps (just a taste!) and salmon etc. I thought it was bizarre but good to see others are he same

Falafel?
