Stopped taking the bottle - help!

Help!! My darling daughter who was taking a bottle just fine is now refusing it out right. She is 10 months old and I started weaning her a month ago with great success. She seemed to love her bottles. However over the Festive period she caught a horrible horrible cold from her father and is now refusing her bottles point blank. Could her cold have something to do with her not wanting milk or could something have happened like we made the milk too hot one day. I am worried that she is going to start loosing weight. She is taking youghurt and cheese though and I am still giving her one breast feed a day. A friend suggested that if she wont take the milk we should leave her and she will eat when she is hungry. That just seems mean to me. Any suggestions or advice?

ds done this a couple of months ago but is back to normal now ( he's 8 months )
I used to give him weetabix or porridge mixed with his milk so he was still getting it that way, could you try putting it in a baby cup or something and see if she takes it like that

Thanks. I'll give that a try.
