We are just starting the weaning process (6 month old) and need clarification on water / milk. I know I need to continue offering him all his milk feeds to start with but as he is now ff do I continue feeding him from his bottles or put it into a trainer cup? Also when/ how much water do I offer him?

Keep milk in bottles and offer a lidded cup of water alongside meals. Doesn't have to be a large amount of water. It is more to get them used to the cup rather than a huge need for water.

Thanks. Am I right to assume tap water (uk based) is fine?

Yes at 6 months you can use water direct from the tap as a drink. Should still be boiled for formula

How much water should ds be drinking at this point?
