We started weaning around 22 weeks and LO takes veggie/fruit purées well from a spoon. Also more than happy to feed himself and we've been trying a variety of finger foods (although I'm not sure how much actually goes in!)

I've been doing a veggie puree / finger food lunch followed by a baby rice and fruit tea however I need some quick and easy ideas for both now he can have pretty much anything.

Thanks in advance all.

Finger foods:
Omelettes cut in strips
Toast fingers with cream cheese spread, or hummus
Fingers or chunks of vegetables

Fish in cheese sauce, mashed potato
Rice or pasta with tomato sauce, or bolognaise, could use chicken, turkey or beef mince
Stew: lamb or beef and root veggies

Both mine liked couscous and pearl barley , curry ( mild) and roast dinners, particularly gnawing at roast potatoes. A surprising amount got eaten.
