Lactose Baby Advise

HI!!

This is my first ever post on Mumsnet.

I was looking for some advise from other Mums with lactose children.

My son is 2 yrs old. He has an allergy to dairy and Soya. For bedtime he has a mixture of prescription powder milk mixed with Oat Milk.

He's extremely sensitive to any change in his diet so we are very careful. We are going to Costa Del Sol in May this year and I am wondering if anyone has any advise on how is best to transport the Oat Milk? Or if you have travelled with it before?

If I put it in my suitcase is the carton likely to explode with the pressure? Or will it freeze?

Ive looked into ordering it into the boots at the airport so I can put it in hand luggage but its not available online.

Im not sure if it will be available locally and I cant risk giving him cows milk.

I would really appreciate any help or advice.

Thanks!!

Could you post it to where you're staying shortly in advance so it'll be there waiting when you arrive? I'm sure the hotel (or wherever you're staying) would be fine with that. Surely cheaper than extra luggage costs too.

We use oatmilk too - a great dairy-free choice :)

Could you pack it into your luggage?
