6 months - wheat products??

hi,

started weaning DS2 about 3 weeks ago,

he now has lunch (blended veg & blended fruit) and dinner (same as lunch mostly)

but should i give him breakkie?

are weetabix ok?? or readybreak?

i read something sbout not giving wheat till 6 months,

also something about allergies which im not sure of,

i had asthma as a child, and my DS1, age 2 has eczema

any ideas?

obviously he has lots of bottles,i dont just not feed him till lunch, lol

No wheat until 6 months, yep. Try yogurt (the real stuff) and fruit for brekkie aswell. DS (8 months) has either philly on brown toast, wheatabix or yogurt and fruit.

I think if theres a risk of alergies, no wheat until 12 months... someone will come along who knows
