These threads are really good but I'd really like a book to refer to, an idiots type guide. I'm planning on doing a bit of a mix, probably BLW and some spoon stuff like porridge etc.

What has everyone used?

Thanks.

The BLW book by Gill Rapley. Also found the River Cottage baby & toddler cookbook to be useful too. I'm sure Annabel Karmel does an idiots guide type book too, but that's not one I used myself.

The Gill Rapley BLW is a great book & really explains the methodology behind it & should answer any questions you have. I borrowed a copy from the library as once I'd started I didn't reread It (although I did scan a few pages to give to nervous grandparents who didn't understand why I wasn't spoon feeding! ). Have a fun weaning journey
