I'm getting to my wits end! My little man was going gr8 guns on this weaning - moved onto stage 2 no problems. Hes nearly 8 months and for the past 2 weeks we've been experiencing clamped mouth & spoon shoving away syndrome! He's routine is a mare:
7.00 bottle lucky if he drinks 150ml
back to bed as he's tired
9.00ish wakes up did eat breakfast - either ready brek, wheetabix both with grated fruit Now refuses. Have tried finger food & toast not interested.
11.00ish back to bed as tired!
1.0ish lunch Homemade veggies & protein (chick / fish) Agian has a couple of mouthfuls and pushes spoon away. Yoghurt will have some but not whole pot
Back to bed!
3pm Bottle around 200ml
5.30ish Soup with toast fingers - will squidge toast and couple of spponfuls
7.00ish bottle 150mls
7.30 sleep until 6.30am

He's pooing like a trooper - He's happy when he's awake and very active.
He's taking Infant gaviscon as he was positing quite a bit after food. This improved his eating for a while but now we're worse than before.
Anyone offer any advise? Sorry for War & Peace but HV's have been useless. Need real help!

could it be teething
DD lived on yogurt for large portions of her teething life, she was unhappy to eat anything that required any chewing
find something he likes if you can
And at 8 mths two spoons is great going
