DS was on normal pasta - I think the baby pasta stuff is too dear. We just cooked it till it was v soft then chopped it up fine

Probably doesn't help if your friend is cooking - but I found that chopping cooked spaghetti into short chewable strands was much easier than trying to chop other fancy shapes.

i got pasta shapes...ordinary ones ...not baby pasta ..for both of mine !!!

7 month old will probably enjoy picking up pieces and feeding themselves !

My DS is almost 7 months and he has chopped macaroni and seems to get it down fine - as long as its chopped fine enough (and cooked very well) I would think any shape should be fine. Can't see the point of baby pasta?!?

I found soup pastas to be really good -- most are already small to begin with. And sometimes come in shapes. (e.g. bows)

dd just had pasta for her tea. not baby pasta and not mashed. just some off my plate. she does best with pasta twists. she's 7 months. she had it with courgette. no need to mash really.

Has anyone had spewy trouble after pasta for tea? DD is 7mths. Pasta for lunch is OK, but pasta for tea comes back about 11pm.
