Cheese strings

Not really a weaning question as DS1 is 3.3yo.

Rather inconveniently he doesn't like cheese. However the other day I bought some cheese strings and he likes them.

I feel a bit bad for falling into the "special kids food" trap but am trying not to be too precious.

My question is - are they full of crap? Or is it true as the package claims that they're are real cheese, just heated in order to make them stretchy...?!

Yep, they're just cheese with a bit of colouring to make them more yellow. My 3 year old only likes cheese on pizza. Kids are weird...

They are just cheese, I used to work in a dairy many moons ago, they are no different to feeding a bit of cheddar, they are just a expensive version of normal cheese
