Need a couple more meal ideas that we can all eat. My LO is weaned and on 3 meals, so far will eat everything apart from chicken (chicken is poison apparently).

Getting a bit crap cooking different meals.
Diet food for Mummy, man food for Daddy and then baby food.

We do Bolognese, cottage pie etc but need a bit of inspiration. We do spoon feeding or self feeding depending on what the meal is.

My DS is 7 months and we've only done BLW.

Lasagna and garlic bread went down a storm. He just stuffed handfuls in.

Pork stroganoff and rice was good. In fact, any meals were the meat/veg can be cut into strips (like stir fries) and he'll gnaw on them.

Corn on the cob on the side of anything is popular too.

Ooooo. Corn on the cob. Hadn't thought of that.

Lasagne and garlic bread drools..

Just popping back with a few more ideas.

Meatballs/burgers have gone down well recently. As we BLW, we just let DS pick them up with his fingers, but you could mash them down a bit for spoon feeding. We had these lamb meatballs tonight. Very nice with cous cous. The cous cous was a bit messy but DS enjoyed it. Chicken and sweetcorn burgers were popular too (though I can't find chicken mince so used turkey, and grated carrot in too).

What if you breadcrumbed chicken? Would he try that as a finger food? Or maybe turkey breast rather than chicken?

Chilli is a favourite in this house, and you don't have to make it spicy at all, mine isn't.

I made a chicken casserole last week which was enjoyed by all and really simple to make. Think I got the recipe off the bbc good food website.

Roast dinners always go down well.

Curry, there's a really good one on the annabelle karmel website, I find the original recipe too tomatoey though so always add extra spices to counteract.

Great ideas thanks!

Did a bit of cooking and batch cooked lamb stew, beef stew and Yorkshire pudding, morrocan lamb with cous cous and ratatouille sauce for pasta/veg lasagne. Feeling less like a slave to the stove now.

Got him on to chicken too, turns out chicken is a finger food in this house not a spoon fed food haha he went to town on a chicken leg.

Once my freezer pots are eaten and back I'll try a curry and meatballs/burgers.

Fish pie was always a firm favourite with DD at that age Smile
