Baby led weaning - join me?

DD2 is 5 1/2 months old. I want to begin baby led weaning but need someone to chat to etc about it all. Fancy joining me to compare notes etc? Have looked at the brilliant babyledweaning.co.uk site/blog and everything looks great.

delayed response MWH!! she eats LOADS. i am constantly surprised. she didn't have teeth when those photos were taken, she was just and so 6 months. she cut her first one 2 days ago, she's 7 1/2 months now. you can't see it but you can just feel it.

it does start off as playing, mushing, squishing etc. but the more you let them at it and the more they watch you enjoying your food the more they seem to eat. certainly with dd that's what's happened. she now looks longingly at the fruit bowl when she's hungry and gets quite upset if we dare to eat and not give her anything.
