after a perfect start where he ate anything, my 10 month old will now only eat fruit and refuses to use a spoon or high chair. how long can he go before I start to worry?

does he have to use a spoon? does he like finger foods?

he likes finger foods, but finding it hard to make sure he has a balanced diet. he also loves to squash and smear everything - do I just need to relax more?

he likes finger foods but he doesn't like spoon feeding? then yes just let him do finger foods. you don't have to stick to obvious things like toast and bread sticks, give him messy things and he will hopefully start to enjoy everything about meal times, the colours the textures, figuring out how to eat it, rather than just eating to fill up IYSWIM.

a really good site is babyledweaning.org
