We have been traditional style weaning for about 3 weeks now and so far milky chops will eat absolutely anything. Pulls some cracking faces but then still makes the 'more, more' noise and bounces about waiting.
In 24 hours he is having 42oz of milk and yesterday had 3 meals too. He is having homemade fruit puree for breakfast, homemade veg puree for lunch then had some porridge and banana for tea yesterday. He will sometimes go 3.5 hours between bottles but it's a real push unless he's napping.
Up until recently he was EBF but had to stop quite abruplty due to illness, is it just that I didn't realise how much milk he was actually drinking and only now realise the volume since it's now in a bottle.
it just seems alot to me. He will just keep eating the food too. I have to just stop when I think it's enough as he'll just keep going. He will empty a tomee tipee food storage pot and 7oz milk and still look at me like 'where's the rest?'
He's not quite 6 months yet either..
