What age did you give ham?

Just wondered what age you gave your baby ham (pre-packed sandwich ham), DS is nearly 8 months old, is this too young due to its salt content?

My 9 month old regularly has ham. Probably every 3 days for lunch. I rotate ham, cheese and egg sandwiches!

Never really thought about the salt content but you may have something

I use a slice of wafer thin ham - lower salt but tastes of ham iyswim.

DC1 around a 1 yr old,
DC2 was given it by DC1 to lick before 6 months.

I go with the everything in moderation approach mostly though.
