BLW odd questions!

just wondering as we've swopped to BLW now instead of me feeding, but I have a couple of reservations.

  1. boy goes in the highchair and I put the food onto the tray - should I do this or put it in a bowl? if a bowl which is the best bowl for sticking to teh bottom?

  2. he doesn't seem to be eating a right lot, tonight for example we had chicken mash carrot and swede, he had chunks of the veg and mash with strips of chicken, he ate a little but next to nothing - yet blended/chopped he'd eat it all up.

  3. even thou he didn't have much of his tea, I still gave him a banana which he ate all of, surely if he was hungry thou would he not have had his tea?

today he also had a slice of bread with a bit of marmite on, a yoghurt and mixed fruit for lunch then that for dinner so I guess it was a lot, just not as much as he would normally have had iycwim. also do you let them do their own feeding with the spoon? - cos that's what we've ben doing he can sort of load it up but mainly I do but he feeds himself. any help greatly appriciated

i emailed you some of my dd chomping aitch. did you get them? i could have sent you about 500 but only sent maybe 5!

AitchTwoOh · 19/11/2006 21:06

i did get them, and i know that this is ludicrous given that i am checking mumsnet, but i am supposed to be working hard at the moment (Crisismas deadlines loom) so have banned myself from blog apart from comments section. i will no doubt backslide on this horrifically...
did you send yours at the end of last week? i know i have some to do... if it was before that then it is I who is the dizzy bint and i have lost them... sometimes my junk grabber is a bit snappy i confess.

DizzyBint · 19/11/2006 21:10

yes think it was last week. no worries! started thinking some random person may be wondering why i had sent them pics of a baby eating.

iwouldloveadollypleaseSanta · 19/11/2006 21:21

ok aitch i emailed you some but they aren't that great -someone has taught dd to drop everything and smile for camera so few shots of her eating!!

AitchTwoOh · 19/11/2006 21:37

right i promise i will attend to both tomorrow night. thanks. (dd loves looking at the slideshow of the babies eating, she gets all excited when she sees herself or her wee pal Boomer).

my mum said exactly the same thing, munz... it isn't new, just a new (and rather cringey) name.

munz · 20/11/2006 18:12

I have some fabby piccy's from tonight if you'd like those on your blog? - althou I don't have the email address? is it on your web blog thing?

AitchTwoOh · 20/11/2006 18:23

munz · 20/11/2006 19:07
