Can weaning upset babies sleep pattern-make them wake more often etc....?

could be anything! I assume your lo is about 6 months? waking after having an established sleep pattern at this time is really not unusual. It could be food-related (upset tummy, hungry, etc) but then again it could be teething or it could be your lo going through a phase. My dd2 slept through the night at 6 months just after we started weaning and I thought we'd cracked it. It lasted a month and she still wakes up once a night every night (she's 13m now) Not saying this will happen to you but babies are unpredictable creatures and please themselves about their sleep patterns for much of the 1st 18m.

Yes, I thought I had cracked it, but had a few difficult nights. Fingers crossed she will settle again. Bless her.
