BLW - now I'm stuck

Have been doing blw with ds, he has cmpi so sometimes can't have what we're having.

He also had a reaction to pasta (something wheat) the other day, so can't give him that.

He usually has soya yoghurt or toast for breakfast, will soon try with porridge/crumpets aswell.

For lunch/dinners he usually has the same sort of stuff, I was worried he isn't having a great variation of foods. So far he has tried carrots, broccoli, sweet potato, normal potato, carrot & swede, chicken (he loves that!), fish, baked beans and spaghetti bolognaise which is another favourite.

What else can I give him? My brain has gone blank!

I'm not totally sure on the allergies but how about granola, porridge cereal for brekkie with fruit, then you can have a bread thing for lunch - beans on toast, sandwiches, cheese (??) Meats and salad, or egg

Then a meal of some description for supper.

That is basically what we eat inc the 2 toddlers

Eggs?

Hi op, I've not lived with cmpi so massive apologies if any of this is not suitable, but here's some of my ds's favourite meals...

Anything with mince - chilli, bolognese. Easy to grate in carrot and pack with mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, kidney beans. Serve with rice or cous cous or quinoa or potato.

Buy a packet of fish pie mix, separate into portions of 3 or 4 pieces, freeze extra portions. I usually poach a few pieces in milk in the microwave, perhaps you could use soya milk or coconut milk? Or of course you could steam it. I serve this with mash and peas, or I make a chunky tomato and vegetable sauce.

How about a Spanish style chicken stew? Chicken, passata, whatever veggies you have in the fridge, a little chorizo or bacon, maybe some butternut or sweet potato and herbs and spices. All simmered up together. (as you can see I tend to batch cook and freeze for ds, in our case that's because dh works late so we can't eat together with him, but I see it would be helpful in your case too if you need separate meals)

Stir fry with thin strips of beef/pork/prawns?

For breakfast or lunch ds often has a speedy omelette - crack one or two eggs into a bowl, add chopped veg, ham, chicken etc, microwave for a minute or two until it's cooked. Slice like a Spanish omelette.

Hope that gives you a few ideas to try!

I am a bit rubbish at it as I am the worlds worst cook!

My dd mostly ate steamed veg for the first few months. Nothing wrong with sticking to veg if it's safer. X
