Weaning inspiration for a 6 month old

Looking for some weaning inspiration! Lo is 6 months now and loves her food.

I do find it difficult planning lunch/dinners - I'm fine with the basic puree's but when I've made more interesting combinations i.e. adding spices etc she doesn't like them - plus I made a nice leek, potato and cheese dish it didn't freeze well at all so it all got chucked out. I just seem to end up chucking loads of stuff out or using the Ella's kitchen pouches as I'm not organized enough. Looking for some simple recipe ideas that freeze well and also ideas for blw as she does like finger foods but I'm not 100% sure what to give her - looking online some people give sandwiches at this age and while she's had toast, banana, carrots etc I don't think she could manage that!

Also, ideas for meals that we can all have - I tend to eat things like chicken teriyaki, chilli, home made KFC (on slimming world), home made soup - I don't always manage a proper meal at night and sometimes just end up eating cereal due to lack of time so looking for healthy but quick!

Don't underestimate what they can handle at a young age. I did BLW with my DS, so from the beginning he had food as it came, nothing mashed or pureed. It can be anything and everything really. If you are wanting to give finger foods alongside purees, then steamed batons of veg works well, also batons of cheese, slices of ripe fruit, toast, pancakes, veggie/savory muffins, spaghetti/pasta, sticky rice, omelette strips, hard boiled egg, roasted root veg, chicken strips, fish cakes etc etc.

Just don't add any salt, and avoid honey plus things like whole nuts and you should be fine.

My ds is 27weeks been weaning 5weeks and doing mix of puree n blw he has whatever we have mostly blitzed up as long as not salty food and if we use stock or gravy I use a hm chicken stock for his. He has had roast dinner, stews, (chicken n Apple with sweet potato and carrots mash, lamb n apricot stew with sweet potato and parsnip mash), butternut squash curry, rib eye steak with potatoes n veg, fish pie.

Breakfast is weetabix or porridge.

Blw wise he has broccoli, a load different bread products, hard boiled egg, sweet potato wedges, dollops mash potato, pasta,

We started with batch cooking different veg n freezing in ice cubes then bagging each veg then mixing 2 different ones together then a combo of 3 we did this for first 3weeks then started meals.

My ds is my second and eats much better than first ever did at this age, he has a cow's milk intolerance so we use expressed breast milk in his food.
