Just to say that at 12 months old, dd has finally started to show an interest in food, and is now eating toast, sandwiches, vegetables, fruit, cereal, and mostly whatever we eat ourselves.

Thought this might encourage people whose babies not taking to solid food, as it can be a real worry and it has been for months.

What did it in the end was to stop putting her food in her own bowl or plate, which was frustrating her and giving her a strong urge to throw food all over the place, and instead just wait till she took an interest in what was on our plates and then give her small pieces one bit at a time.
