8 month old making himself gag

My DS is 8 months and is now quite happily back to 2 -3 meals a day (after going off it while getting his first tooth last week).But... the last couple of days he has been sticking his fingers down his throat, hard and far enough to make himself gag, in between spoonfuls, and sometimes while he's still chewing. He seems quite happy to carry on eating, never really have any other trouble with him over food, just wondered if anyone else has experienced this as it seems to be getting a bit worse. He does do it at other times but mostly at mealtimes. Thanks

wouldn't worry about it or pay it any attention .. its probably just a weird feeling he's experimenting with .. it might last for a month but will no doubt stop soon

my twins used to do this all the time, and would often be sick, they got over it though, I have no idea why they did it but i remeber being worried about it, but not enought to do anything IYSWIM
