DS fussing ovr foods

Our DS (8m) is a good eater and hs been weaning since 17w. He has his breakfast - usually readybreak - a morning snack, a 200g jar or food with a yoghurt/fruit puree, afternoon snack and a 200g jar or food with a yoghurt/fruit puree.

Lately he has been fussing over his faves and not eating a full jar. Hes been quite fussy with what I have been giving him and hasnt increased his milk intake to compensate. He takes 18oz of FF a day.

Any ideas?

Try feeding proper food rather than jars, it may be the texture he's not keen on.

Hes eaten proper food and does at nursery so I cant see it being that. Its only in this last week

If he eats proper food st nursery and is refusing to eat the jars at home he's probably being fussy as he prefers real food thames baby mush.

His food is semi pureed at nursery too Buttercup.

I would just go with it to be honest. It's possible his appetite has just naturally slowed down. He's eating a lot of food at 8 months, so maybe he's just leveling off.

Now could be a good time to increase the finger foods and see how he gets on with those.

Maybe add in some finger foods. The jars can taste a bit bland compared to proper food so maybe he wants more proper foods rather than jar stuff.

He has loads of fingers foods. :)

Give less mush and more finger foods?
