Is it ok to use semi-skimmed if you run out of full fat milk for recipes ?

I try to keep full fat milk in but I buy small quantities of it and sometimes run out because I'm not a great meal planner.

I'm just wondering if it is wrong to use semi-skimmed if thats all thats in the house to make cauliflower cheese or macaroni cheese or similar ?

Rookiebaby is 7mths old and not fading away by any stretch of the imagination !
