Weaning routine for 5 month old?

Hi all, my daughter is nearly 5 months old and have started giving her the aptamil baby rice twice a day. This was her routine: 8am - 8oz bottle and baby rice, 11:30am - 8oz bottle, 2:30pm - 8oz bottle, 5:30pm - 8oz bottle and baby rice, 9pm - 8oz bottle. She took very well to the baby rice and eating from a spoon and was eating the whole bowl full (I read they usually only have a few spoonfuls) but she was eating it all. I started introducing some carrot puree at her 5:30pm feed instead of the baby rice and have put her bottles down to 7oz as she is leaving around an ounce in most of them now. I'm looking for some weaning routine advice? and also what would be the next step (should I introduce more baby puree in the day? etc) any advice would be much appreciated! thank you!

Hi, not sure this will help but il tell you my lo routine, she is 6months. Wake at 07:00/07:30 plays in cot or bed while I get dressed then has 6/7 ounces at 08:30 + puréed fruit at 09:15. She then plays and has a nap at 10:15 for 45 mins. 6/7oz at 12 and puréed veg at 12:45 followed by 30 min nap. At 15:15 she has 5/6 oz and porridge with fruit at 16:30 then a nap at 5pm for 20/30 mins then bed time routine starts at 18:15 she has a 8/9oz bottle at bedtime around 18:45/19:00. I would suggest to try simple fruit and veg you can mix it into the baby rice or on its own then after a few weeks baby try baby led weaning by mixing spoon feeds with finger food. I have started to introduce finger foods between feeds as lo never eats much if it just chews. I have given bits of rice cake, stewed veg, peppers, chicken, banana and pasta so far

Forgot to say always do bobos before food as milk is important at this stage for vitimans etc... I would not reduce fluids as still very young just decrease amounts when they start to do it themselves
