Hi - this is my first posting so bear with me.

1 small beetroot (50g)
1/2 med apple
50g butterbeans (tinned, in water or prepared as instructed on packet)

Wash and peel the beetroot and chop into 3mm dice, and heat in pan with 2 tablespoons of boiling water. Wash, core and peel the apple then grate into the simmering betroot. Simmer for further 8 mins. Rinse butterbeans and add to mix and simmer for a further 2 mins to heat through.

Give the mix a quick whizz with hand blender to make a slightly textured puree.

The receipe comes with a Nappy Warning!! (I guess due to the beetroot). Its in the stage 2 section of the book which is 6mths plus - when they are used to the early stage veg/fruit purees. Haven't tried it yet so I don't know what its like - good luck!

Thanks so much, can't believe someone found it. I might just have time to make it for dd's tea!

No problem - my MIL got me the book but I haven't used it much yet - now I've read the recipe might just have to try it myself.
