What foods freeze well? Have already frozen some potato mashed with b/milk. Is there anything i should avoid freezing to use later?

Hi DG!.....I take it the weaning is going ok!! Well done you

Hows he getting on??

Not sure which foods you can't freeze...I think most things freeze ok.

It's good- have only given a small amount of baby rice at breakfast to start. He's not feeding so often now, and is having a proper nap in the day, so i'm happy! Going to the market for fruit today to make some mush for him. Have put a list up in the kitchen of things he mustn't have (dairy, wheat etc)so that fella doesn't give him the wrong foods. He looks quite sweet with food over his face (baby, not fella!)

Good...glad you are happier...you can catch up on some sleep too!

Fruit mush is great...mine loved it...I used to mix a small amount of yoghurt in too...babyrice mixed in helps to thicken it up too

oooh sorry...didn't read that properly...don't mix yoghurt in if you are avoiding dairy!...baby rice is good though.

Most root veg and cooked fruit purees freeze fine. Don't think mashed banana or avocado would though.
