Cows milk.... When with cereals?

When can you start giving cows milk with cereal and baby rice? 6 months?

And before then is it formula?

I was using full fat cows milk in cereal (& any cooking) from 6-7 months & moved on to using it for bottles at 12 months. Before that I used formula for cereals.

Yes, 6 months for using cows milk on cereal and in cooking and a year for giving it as a main drink. And yes, formula or EBM for cereal before 6 months.

from six months.
babies shouldn't have gluten (or any other solids for most babies) before then anyway

Some baby cereals which say from 4+ months on them you can just add water because they are made from ground solids and formula powder, those are a bit more convenient. They often contain gluten though, so watch out for that especially if you have any allergies already in the family.
