Chicken...

I'm giving with lg chicken for the first time tonight and have gotten myself all worried about reheating etc.

I've done so much research but everyone is just contradictory. What's the stance on reheating from cold out the fridge and from reheating after being defrosted?

Many thanks

The important thing is not so much how you reheat it as how it was cooled down and treated after being cooked the first time.

Just make sure it is piping hot, then let it cool enough to eat.

Ah ok, so let it cool after cooking then either put in fridge or freezer once chilled?

Then in the microwave until it's piping hot?

Yep, that's right. I always chill as quickly as possible (stand bowl in cold water) then freeze or put in the fridge if it's for the next day. When reheating I always make sure it comes up to boiling point for a minute (kills off any bacteria) and then cool a little before eating. I'm always super paranoid about reheating meat!

Thank you so much ??

Thought I was going to sound clueless and uber paranoid but meat has been terrifying me.
