Beaba food processor

We are currently in the babyrice / wallpaper paste phase but the Beaba food processor looms. (present from MIL so no going back!) My question is, do I still have to push stuff through a sieve once it has been whizzed or is the processor enough?

Processor should be enough, assuming your little one's more at the 6 month end of the weaning scale than the 4 month end? (I'm not sure what the sieving is all about, to be honest, although I do seem to recall that 'second stage' baby food has minuscule lumps in but first stage doesn't?)

I didn't bother pushing anything through a sieve and rookiebaby is still alive. I think you maybe are meant to do it for things like sweetcorn & Peas, but frankly life is too short.

Don't you have a wand processor you can use and then keep the Beaba one to Ebay ? It looks as if it has lots of bits to clean and tbh once you start pureeing stuff the key thing is to get the job done as quickly as possible.
